A2 milk is a type of cow’s milk that lacks a certain form of protein i.e. the A1 β-casein proteins. This type of milk is beneficial for people who enjoy the taste of milk, but their bodies cannot tolerate the A1 β-casein protein.
What is the difference between A1 and A2 milk?
The major difference between A1 and A2 milk is that A1 milk contains both the forms of protein i.e. A1 β-casein and A2 β-casein. on the other hand, A2 only has the A2 β-casein. according to studies, A1 milk may trigger some diseases while A2 is generally more beneficial to your overall growth.
Is A2 milk suitable for people with lactose intolerance?
Yes, A2 milk is more suitable for people with lactose intolerance as compared to A1 as it is easier to digest and is light on your stomach. but, since every person’s body differs, we still recommend consulting a health professional before consuming it.
How does A2 milk benefit digestion?
A2 milk is mild on your stomach as it doesn’t contain the A1 protein which is found in regular milk. By consuming A2 milk, you may experience digestive relief.
Is A2 milk suitable for cooking and baking?
Absolutely! A2 milk can be used in cooking and baking just like regular milk. whether you're making a delicious sauce, baking desserts, or enjoying a cup of coffee, our A2 milk is versatile and can be seamlessly incorporated into your favorite recipes.
Where do you source your A2 milk and how do you process it?
Our farm is located in Bhiwandi. Our farmers at mama’s milk use clean and hygienic methods to collect the milk from the cows. After collecting the milk, it goes through two crucial processes i.e. pasteurization and IBT. While pasteurization involves heating to kill any harmful bacteria, IBT (ICE BUILDING TANK) helps to Reduce Temperature from 75 Degree to 4 Degree within few minutes. Bulk Milk Cooling tanks are essential for preserving the quality of raw milk immediately after it is extracted from dairy animals. Rapid cooling's helps in Improving Milk quality / Bacterial Control / Extended Shelf Life / Preservation of Nutritional Value and maintain Energy Efficiency.
* Breeding and Genetics: A2 milk comes from desi cows that naturally produce milk with only the A2 beta-casein protein, as opposed to the more common A1 beta-casein protein found in regular milk. Breeding and maintaining a herd of cows that predominantly produce A2 milk can be more challenging and costly.
* Selective Breeding: Farmers need to selectively breed cows to ensure a higher percentage of A2-producing cows in their herds. This process involves identifying and breeding cows that carry the A2 gene, which can be time-consuming and costly.
* Limited Availability: A2 milk is not as widely produced as regular milk, so economies of scale may not be as favorable. The limited availability of A2 milk can result in higher production costs per unit, contributing to a higher retail price.
How do you ensure the quality of your A2 cow milk?
We maintain strict quality control measures throughout the entire production process. This includes regular testing for purity and adherence to organic farming practices.
